This is a slide show of our kitchen remodel. My husband and I started this project in March of 2008 and just finished it at the end of May. We did all the work ourselves and saved a lot of money, I did the electrical, plumbing, flooring and tiling and my husband designed and made the cabinets, installed the solid surface countertops and sink put in the crown molding, etc…. and we did the rest together. I also put new flooring in the rest of the house except the bedrooms and we painted and put crown molding througout. We also put in a gas fireplace, a pocket door, new trim on all the doors and a new french door. I installed recessed lighting in our family room as well. Next we will tackle the bathroom….stay tuned.

During the Fall I wrecked my Jeep into the side of my apartment. I’ll go ahead and tell you that everything worked out. If fact, the stove broke last week, and fala* new stove*! So great for me eh?
